Roger Williams University Builds Community Connections with ACE Mentorship Program
RWU works to inspire the next generation of designers, builders, and innovators by giving high school students in the ACE Mentor Program an inside look at its Architecture and SECCM programs.
Welcome to the Richard L. Bready Applied Learning Laboratories, a hub of labs, project rooms and open spaces dedicated to hands-on, collaborative teaching and learning. With our focus on experiential learning and cutting-edge industry trends, the School of Engineering, Computing and Construction Management (SECCM) develops students equipped with the skills and real-world experiences to meet the challenges facing the engineering and design build industries. SECCM faculty have a state-of-the-art facility to deliver the highest quality educational experience to our students

Shawmut Design and Construction is the construction management firm leading the Richard L. Bready Applied Learning Laboratories project. In addition to their extensive experience in academic construction, Shawmut is one of the top employers of RWU graduates and they will be collaborating with SECCM faculty to deliver an educational program on all aspects of the project delivery.
