On June 1, 2026, Dr. Brian G. Williams became Interim President of Դ. A longtime Դ leader, Dr. Williams brings deep institutional knowledge, broad executive experience, and a student-centered commitment to advancing the university’s mission.

About Interim President Williams
Dr. Brian G. Williams serves as Interim President of Դ, guiding the university through a period of transition with a focus on continuity, collaboration, and momentum.
Prior to his appointment, Dr. Williams served as Chief of Staff and held senior leadership roles at Դ, including executive responsibilities in enrollment, finance, administration, strategic planning, and university operations. His leadership reflects a deep commitment to affordability, access, academic excellence, and the student experience.
As Interim President, Dr. Williams will work closely with the Board of Trustees, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community partners to advance Դ’s mission as a comprehensive university with a public purpose.
